CEO, WorldMate Amir Kirshenbaum Amir Kirshenbaum
CEO, WorldMate Israel

Amir leads product innovation and technical development at WorldMate’s Israel center.

Amir was the WorldMate’s VP of Product Development from 2004-2007, Amir was Senior Vice President of Products at the video ringtone company, Vringo from 2007 to 2009. Before originally joining WorldMate, Kirshenboim founded two mobile companies, DITIO Software Ltd. and Smart Mobile Applications. Amir holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a BSc in Electronics Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology.

Vice President, Business Development

Ian manages WorldMate’s strategic relationships with travel industry partners, handset vendors, wireless carriers, and content providers around the word.

Ian has over 15 years of business development experience in the PC, Internet and mobile industries nurturing deals that have resulted in many millions of software units shipped with market leaders including Nokia, RIM, Sony Ericsson, AT&T, O2, Orange, Fujitsu, HP, Palm, Sony Electronics, and EarthLink.

Before joining WorldMate, Ian founded The Beachhead Group Inc., a business development consulting firm for mobile application ISVs. Ian earned his MBA in Marketing from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California - Irvine with a dual B.A. in Economics and Japanese Language & Literature.


WorldMate CTO David Rabinowitz David Rabinowitz
CTO

David is responsible for the technological aspects of WorldMate development efforts, operations and system architecture.

His seven years in WorldMate had seen him involved bottom-up in both mobile and server systems, from coding mobile and server applications to planning the current and future systems architecture. David's key role in WorldMate is assisted by his previous positions at other startups such as 3dMe and OmniSky (later acquired by Earthlink). He has vast experience in design patterns, object oriented design and advanced programming methodologies.

David holds an MSc and BSc (both cum laude) from the Hebrew University. In the years 2007-2010 David gave at the HU an MSc/BSc advanced course on software design.
